Today is my resting day but of course I still crochet on a resting day :)

I finished Pam's baby blanket yesterday and I have it all prepared to give away!

Gosh I love seeing the finished products!  Sometimes I just don't wanna give them away lol.

Today I'm gonna pick back up on my first infinity scarf!  This is my first attempt so

I'm really hoping for the best haha.  The scarf was meant to match my sister's slouchie beanie I'm also in the process of making but my mind is so all over the place, if I could, I would crochet 5 things at once!

But...back to the hook I go! :)

Whew! I'm back!

It's been wayyyy too long!  We finally got our internet hooked up so now I can keep up with my blogs again! :)  Well for today here's a preview of the King size blanket I was raving about before we moved!

This is part of one row and I have 7 (or 8) more to go.  I'll decide when I get to the end because it's actually coming out much larger than anticipated. 

Now, apart from Crochet, like I mentioned before we have finally gotten our internet and cable hooked up!  I can not describe how excited I am haha.  Now it's time for my husband and I to cut our phones down to save some money!  I'll stay posted!

MOVE DAY!!

My husband and I are finally moving into our apartment (which isn't till tomorrow but it's still just as exciting) and I'll be busy cleaning packing then tomorrow unpacking and cleaning haha. So I'll be out of commission for a few days but I'll be back and ready to crochet!! But I'm off to go do some laundry then put it all in boxes!! YESSSS!! :)

Early morning!

I guess it's an early morning for me today! My guess....the 2 king size blankets I need to make before Christmas lol. Yeah. I'm just assuming anxiety. But hey the earlier I'm up the longer I have to work on my many projects! :) It's a good thing I LOVE to crochet haha! But I need to get my granny on and start stitching out some squares! I'll definitely be back around later! Wish me luck!

Whoa!

Ok! So I've just received some great but slightly stressing news! My husband has been promoting my crochet and it has taken real quick! Now I have 2 king size blankets to make before Christmas along with a baby blanket, some booties, and my Mom's cross-stitch lol. I need to get started RIGHT NOW! But hey you never know how great you can be until you're pushed to the max! :) Now I just have to find some good patterns because I always love doing something different!

So, this was my very first project when it came to crochet! It's a baby blanket for what I call my niece :) but she is technically my cousin's daughter and I figured, what better way to start! It actually came out really well and it really gave me the motivation to get better!

Can't Sleep!

So, this is my first jab at blogging but hey it can't be that hard! 

Well, I've only been crocheting for about 10 months now but I have progressed a lot faster than I expected! I surprise myself with some of the things I'm able to do just by reading patterns.  I love learning so many different things and seeing how far I can push myself. 

I would definitely call myself a crochet addict! My iPhone is filled with crochet patterns that I find when I get bored.  Heck, crochet even effects my sleep haha.  I'm always just laying around thinking of new ways to do things and patterns and what looks good and what's in style.  I will definitely give all credit to Google though!  If it weren't for Google, I never would have been able to broaden my crochet abilities!

But, I'm always looking to try something new, whether it's new patterns or new stitches!  I just love the art of crochet!
